OUTREACH ACTIVITIES
Visitors to Nehemiah House can engage the girls in therapeutic activities such as arts and crafts projects.
Bible studies are another meaningful activity visitors can facilitate with the girls.
Fun and games are also welcome activities that visitors can enjoy with the girls to help lift their spirits.
The Nehemiah organization also has a second facility located in Bukidnon, which features ample land for farming and gardening projects. The farming and gardening activities at the Bukidnon site likely provide therapeutic benefits and sustenance for the residents.
Overall, Nehemiah House and the Bukidnon facility work to support the girls in their care through various enriching activities and a nurturing environment.
BENEFITS OF OUTREACH PROGRAMS
Outreach programs provides the children a safe and nurturing environment when they are unable to be with their own families, as Nehemiah House aims to meet the girls’ emotional, social, and spiritual needs during their stay. Moreover, doing outreaches also opens your eyes on what other people are experiencing.

Therapeutic Activities
Therapeutic activities enhances the girls’ creativity and is also a great way to connect with them through various arts, crafts, and even games!

Dental and Medical Program
It is a great help for the girls to be given medical and dental needs. Most of them came from a family who does not have the financial capability to access healthcare needs. Thus, medical and dental services is a great opportunity for the girls’ physical health assessment.

Gift Giving/Celebrations
When the girls were rescued, they did not bring much belongings. Thus, when someone blesses them with simple gifts, it makes them feel valued and cared for.
